Iā€™ve made it through some more of the coins that Iā€™ve inquired and I come across this buffalo nickel that weighs almost 2 g less than a regular Buffalo nickel I was wondering if any of the buffalo nickels mightā€™ve been put on aluminum it even sounds different when you drop it on the table or was any of the buffalo nickels ever counterfeit it maybe thatā€™s how much material has worn off over the years?

That 37' looks very unusual, could it be a bad attempt of a magicians coin. Look at the rim, looks tampered with.

Combination of thin planchette and extreme wear.

Also, I agree that the rim on the ā€˜37 looks a bit odd.

Time for more coffee.
