Cape May NJ hotspots?

Staying in Cape May last week of September, sure I’ll be detecting the beach every morning, but I’d love to try other interesting spots, given the long history of Cape May as a seaside resort- even to Philadelphia colonists. Any tips would be appreciated. I found maps going back to 1870’s to get ideas as well

Have a great trip! Was there back in August seen 2 or 3 guys detecting the beach everyday. There’s a lot of private properties that I’d love to hunt, mainly old Victorian houses on the main drag around town, probably tough to get permission since they are mostly rentals. Good luck and please let me know how it goes. I didn’t bring the detector on my last few trips, but might bring it next time.
