Christmas eve plants in Mexico

Today in rural Mexico, my wife's plants. In the USA, we call them poinsettias, named after the military officer who introduced them to the USA.

Here they are called Christmas Eve plants and in some cases Easter flowers, which makes no sense because it is in December that they turn that beautiful red.

I have no idea what the weather is like where you live, but it only got up to mid-70's here today. :D

No flowers growing outside around where I'm at now. Weather sounds perfect down there.

I love poinsettia plants but they do not do well here, even finicky inside. Thanks for sharing they look great.

Made it up to 12 here today piegrande, but we're hopin for sunshine and a high of 42 Saturday, then more snow and highs in the 20's for next week. Ah, only 5 more months til spring.
