Civil war stirrup??

Found a stirrup on what I think was a small fight area during civil war. I found musket balls and enfield bullets here is why I think there may have been a battle. Feedback would be appreciated

Doesn't look like a CW stirrup I've seen, but I don't know squat about them. Remember, not every saddle used in the CW were military . . . especially by the Confeds. Condition looks right . . .
