Hi all. Stopped for my normal Wednesday puck up today. Two boxes each of halves, dimes and nickels. Ooops, she forgot to order the halves. I know what some of you are thinking, that, ya right, she forgot but this is one of my favorite tellers and I accepted it was just an ooops. Really I didn't care because my halves are by far, the least productive boxes I search. I used the opportunity to grab an extra box of dimes. Anyway, to the clink clink part of the story, other teller chimes in, that she has these, while holding up a coin envelope. Assuming halves but its Ike's. As she counts them out I heard it but thought I must have been mistaken. When I got home, sure enough, found an s mint silver Ike. That's my fifth one. Always ask for the large dollar coins. Now, time to search dimes. HH all.

Thanks for looking and commenting. Keep searching those ikes. I've been through 2500 to 3000 Ike's to get 5 silver Ike's and one 80% Canadian dollar. No peace or morgans but I keep hoping. The rest of my hunt was two war nicks, three buffs and two funny money coins.

Thanks for sharing your stats Mercury. It's good for a newbie like myself to get perspective on what other hunters are batting when hunting for silver.

Scored me a balboa today and 7 Canadians in my box of dimes. Skunked yesterday on another dime box as well except for 8 Canadians and a 5 pence.
