We searched for 45 minutes and never found a foundation of any kind or any sign of a dump anywhere.I had my Compadre on the whole time and not a beep, went to a small clearing and hit on a piece of wire, second signal was the ring. Had a stunned moment, was surprised to find the wire so the ring to pop out was almost too much. Weights 5.1 grams, don't know what the stone is. 2-3 inches down and had the disc at 5 cent.

I see the red flecks in the photo, but I can't make out the surrounding stone. If the surrounding stone is opaque and green then it's Bloodstone which is very cool. In any case great find!
