I'm with you Iron Patch. It's close, but not quite there. Could even be the photo. It's the last 8 in the date that throws me a bit. The 7 is very similar to the the reverse P. Maybe it's just a new, previously undiscovered variety

The tough part is the pitting not only affects the condition, it makes it hard to shoot, possibly distorting the image just enough to throw a person off. Even very clear pics of high grade coins can make the spacing look a little different depending on how each picture was taken. It looks like there is a spacing difference in the O in Connec, from his head, but it could very well just be the pic.

It is a known fact that all new discoveries are in very poor condition.
