Went back to the civil war reenactment place and I found a neat little cap gun.

My dad found most of the cool stuff, A copper bit that was apparently used for gun cleaning, a few modern bullets and .925 ring. He also went traipsing through the woods and found a 1945 clorox bottle on the surface, but didnt get any signals in there.

We also went a little further down to a different patch of woods where he found an old bullet in pretty awesome condition, its a Rem-UMC No 12 Nitro Club which stopped production in 1937.

Thanks, and good luck saving history!

I had a toy like that, when I was a kid!

That shot shell id is good - getting dates of mfg. is a way to date a site...!

Very cool find, congrats! :occasion14:

Yeah, we've been searching this area all over for signs of a hotel that was around here in the late 1800s/early 1900s, that bullet is the first thing we've found that for sure fits that time period!

Good hunt also helps date the area keep rippin Well done. Tommy
