I don't know where you live but look up Alabama gold camp in Eastern Bama ! Good people and a real good time !

- Beach High Banker, Sweep Jig, Whippet Dry Washer, Lobo ST, 1/2 width 2 tray Gold Cube, numerous pans, rocker box, and home made fluid bed and stream sluices.

If you haven't already then google Alabama Gold Belt. Several entries give specific creek/river names. I imagine much of the length of them are on private property so it is probable that permission would be required to prospect.
