What a great button with great timing! Now, I've always been naturally into history as I'm sure many members are, however, the mentioning of Andrew Jackson represents a shakeup of politics almost 200 years ago. With similar undertones of our current election process, I think this button underscores a period of American politics similar to our current one. 1824 and 1828 were two shaky elections in American history

Yes I believe Jackson was the first to use such campaign paraphernalia as this button is quite valuable in non dug condition
