I sent a picture to the Mount Desert Island Historical Society , maybe they have info on the vessel ? I'll probably end up donating it to them .

Scott,

Thanks for sending this on to me. That is quite a find. I will do some poking around and ask a couple of folks that are more versed on local shipwrecks than I am to see if anyone knows about this ship. I will pass along any information that I find out.

If you do donate find out ahead of time if it will be put on display or packed away in storage.

I work for our local museum (run by the historical society) We get a lot of donations (some are very neat) but we have no place to put them. We have a storage unit just for items like this. Our museum is a very big two story building that has no display space left. Every time I make my rounds I spot something I have not seen before.

I went to house (perpetual free table) the lady was in her yard , I asked who was Grandfather Clark , she said that Clark's once owned the house , she said that the house built when when George Washington was president . She has an old picture of Mr. & Mrs. Clark , she found in the attic . She could not remember Mr. Clark's first name , it was on the tip of her tongue . I told here I'll Be back .
Today I got an old niddy noddy on the free table .
