Yes my heart pounded like none other when.I saw that gold real. Too bad though... But still a good memory.

All the 50 cal stuff makes we wonder where this beach was? Normandy? Just kidding. Nice finds. Keep looking. That real gold is out there waiting...

I wonder about all the bullets too, I found about 45 more,,,, all made in the 40's. An old timer on the beach said the alot of surplus ammunition was dumped in the gulf. Another guy said its came from Mexico, however, being that I found the actual bullets too, I'm going with the dumping or sunken story. BTW, this was around the Venice area in FL.
