Decatur Fracture Base Point Early Archaic

Lithicsnet list The type is relatively rare and is not found in great numbers anywhere. It is found in very low frequency in Kentucky, across most of Indiana, Ohio, southern Michigan and southern to middle Illinois and very rarely in Pennsylvania.

In almost 60 years of hunting relics and collecting, I have less than ten examples in my collection of this scarce relic.

This example is very thin and made of Harrison County Flint at 2.25 inches in length.
