Deus comes thru in the iron again. Beach is loaded with nails, wire etc

Same shoreline that ive been hunting for years.

Nothing fantastic but I did scoop some neat finds

The whistle is interesting and super loud. Dont think it's Cracker Jack...any ideas?
The 2 chunks of metal are native copper.
A bunch of wheaties and a indian.
Part of some old jewelry and a piece of a RODEO metal.
A solid heavy brass spigot? handle??? Any ideas?
A few nickels...1 40% silver war nickel

Great hunt Toothpick! What settings were you using? I've never taken my Deus to the beach, just curious.

It's a freshwater beach. I just run fast a base and crank sens, multitones, highest recovery and listen for the higher tones among all the iron crap.

what are you using to clean those up?

Since they have no collector value I use a bronze brush wheel on a bench grinder to knock off the crud.

Do you believe that using a bronze brush wheel as a drill attachment would be equally as effective? I have a bunch of large cents and IHP's that I would love to clean up, same thing, no collector's value.

I would think so. Be careful not to catch your fingers. It works well on nickels too.
