UPDATE: they might be diamonds after all.

Every time I got out in the sun I felt like leaving! LOL

Still, nice walk, some clad, couple of surprises, all in all a pretty nice day.

One heart stopper was practically a surface find. I figured a penny on top from the signal but when
I raised the plug I saw this:

I said, uh oh, heat stroke! I'm seeing mirages! ;)

Then I flipped the plug over.

2015 (399).jpg

Now, how does one figure why that was there? LOL

Another neat little surprise was this "penny".

Here's the rest:

2015 (403).jpg
2015 (404).jpg
2015 (405).jpg

Complete with a still working brass pin.

2015 (406).jpg 2015 (407).jpg
The ribbon was still attached but came off on the way home.

2015 (408).jpg
2015 (409).jpg

Crime isn't what it used to be, This was all they left
behind of my transportation. :dontknow:

2015 (410).jpg
Fishy's new claim.

Blingie's was another complete surprise.

2015 (411).jpg

When I found it, (on a tot-lot - attn Msbeepbeep! LOL), I just figured
kid bling. But, it's a lil more than that, not much though.
Looking at the loop very, very closely, I saw this:

2015 (401).jpg

Sorry, best I could do. It says 925 then a star with what looks like a "TU" in the middle
and the letters PGFL.

Thanks for visiting! Hope it wasn't too much!

Which do you prefer? Hot, tough to hunt? Or should I call for the snow to return? ;) LOL

I didn't test the stones because they all looked cracked thru the loop. Could be my eyes are cracked. ;)

Just keep swinging and having fun, the rest will come. Next time you're out ask Him to just take your coil wherever
He wants you to go and to show you whatever He wants you to find. Now, THAT includes, ANYthing! Trash is included.
Don't resist or try to "figure out" a path while you're doing this. Then, come back and tell us what you find and how you feel.

Heat vs snow....hmm, :icon_scratch: well you can at lest swing the coil in the heat and find something. You can swing the coil in snow (as long as it's not froze to the ground) but the finds would all have to be fresh drops, like the shopping cart that the snow plow buried...or the buried Mercedes. Winter requires a "larger" digger! :laughing7:

Ok so they are not diamonds....this time. :notworthy:

I will do that next Sunday and report back.
Considering His sense of humor... Anything goes!
I can see it now...$20 bill floating in the middle of the pond.
Earrings wrapped in tin foil for safe keeping.
And i finally dig up that ring I keep looking for...but it's not alone...still on the owners finger! :icon_scratch:

Yep I'm in for a fun filled time!!!! ......hopefully my clad covers bail! :laughing7:

Just pray for His protection first, then, go where He says! :) You'll do fine.
By the by, "Deepsecrets" on the What Is It forum says PGFL = Pink Gold Filled. I thought that looked a bit like rose gold! :)

Man I want to hunt with you After it cools down.Great finds

Oh I dunno. I don't see where you could do anything differently with me then you could do by yourself. :) Not
really any magic to it, except the finds. ;)

Yeah, and now there's something more. Because of you saying I should check them, I used my diamond tester and
all of them tested real! Now, I know, the tester I have can be fooled by newer man-made stones. AND...the reason I
didn't test in the first place was because a few of them looked cracked to me. Also, I've never seen diamonds that were
so.....dull and lifeless. But, I suppose, it's possible. After all it was probably intended to be a very pretty but inexpensive
piece of bling. The craftsmanship, each stone in it's own setting, open in the back, 925 with pink gold. Who knows, this may just
be one of those old pieces that was handed down over the years. I don't know the star with a "TU" jeweler's mark is but they do pretty
decent work!

Guess it does call for a trip to the expert. :dontknow: :)

Thanks!

They could possibly be lesser quality diamonds, and not perfect, but real. We await the experts decree!

Nice finds. I know what your saying. I left the field last weekend early because of the heat. Wondering if it will be worth it this weekend.
