Well. August is here and its hotter than sin outside, not that it would stop me from CRH'ing.

6 boxes of halves

Box 1: 2 Bens, 1 Walking and 1 Magicians coin. One Ben and the walker were in the same roll, third opened in the box, I figured it would be an awesome box, it wasnt.

Box 6: 2/40% - 1/90% - 1/Franklin

Last two months have been heavy with Bens which has been rather odd. I did expect more out of this week but this is week 1 of a 5 week hunting month, its my free week so a little over 2 oz isnt a bad thing to pad the stats with.

Dimes and Nickels tomorrow. 7 boxes of halves next week.

Its below average right now.

My 90% Average for this month is 0.47 per box while for the year its 0.67 per box. May, it was 1.11 per box with 28 boxes searched and 31/90% found.

I meant to say ratio, not average.

$300 in Customer Halves from the coin counter from a pick up bank. Skunked, but I did manage an extra $2.50 in halves, 1 gold presidential, 1 quarter and 4 pennies so. I came out $2.79 ahead

So I hit the auction today... I needed my fix.

I picked up a sterling ring on accident, I thought the ring I was looking for was in that set of choice when it was in another so I just grabbed the largest one that was there and sucked it up. I picked up the sterling bracelet with the 14kp necklace before someone else got them and in that exchange I

Looks like in the next day or two I will be buying 20 quarters and 5 dimes off a friend who is in dire need of some cash. I will be paying spot of course but that will get me very close to my goal for the end of the month. Hopefully the 6 boxes of halves push me over. with the 0.2 oz or so I will be needing.

Well, the month ended alright.

Purchased the 5 dimes and 20 quarters from my friend. He had a death in the family and wanted to help with funeral costs of his step brother.

Found out today that starting Tuesday I am down to 8 hours a day 5 days a week, I will be losing 15 hours of OT a week unless they need me to stay later. I told them I will more than gladly work more hours if I possibly can. I can survive on 40 hours a week just fine, I just prefer to sock away the extra 15 hours of OT as a nest egg.

So.. onto todays boxes and Customer dumps.

1 - Bag of $100 halves, skunked and short $19. I will call tomorrow and make sure she had it logged as a $100 bag and not a $81 bag. If she had it logged as a $100, I will ask her to recount them a second time before I receive them. This makes $44 lost so far in 2 bags, $18 in $100 of halves and $26 in $1000 of quarters.

Had halves performed to standard, I would have seen

Halves - 1600 - 71/40% - 21/90% - 18.9344 oz

Kind of gives you an idea of what I am used to seeing in a month and what I saw this month lol.

Holidays are coming and people will be dropping coin into the counters to buy gifts so we should all start doing much much better. Last years in Jan was phenominal for me.
