Should I ground balance or do freq scan first? Hunting Florida beaches if that makes a difference

- Presently using Deus 2's & have Minelabs, Nokta's Tesoro's DEus's Have them all . Have WAY to many need to get rid of some

It’s not showing me any reply’s but this one what was it?
Why do either on a Florida beach? Does that beach have some weird mineralized sand? Are there lots of other detectors nearby, or, bad EMI? If the machine is stable, just detect. If you're getting ground interference, sure, ground balance if you think that will help. Same with a frequency shift should you get some EMI. Should you decide you need both, I'd do the frequency first, then ground balance.
