In the woods today by some old stone foundations, old farm site. First target was a whopper. Is this just how bulk lead was sold in the olden days?

Dug a few other relics. One looks like a bird shaped cookie cutter.

The lid of a Art Deco (1930's) powder rouge container. "Princess Pat", first item that can be googled to determine time period.

And a mystery brass collar item with 2 tiny brass pins still attached. Any help with ID on this one?

Ground thawed today, so taking advantage of this small window of opportunity. This site is 500 ft from my home in park property and has a ton of possibilities, just loaded with junk and old bottles. I have to try the magnet I made to start excavating the cellar holes. Loads of square nails.

Normally I would scrap Lead for Cash but that looks good enough to keep, maybe use as a doorstop.

Nice finds! That brass collar sure looks like something that would protect a "hole" so something could slide in place and lock on some old oak piece of furniture.
