(Dump-Site) Back-to-Back Silver

Dump site does it again! Just when I thought this honey hole was drying up I fish out a 1920 merc and a few wheaties... Just a day ago I pulled a 1935 Quarter and a 1935 Merc from the same area. Don't get me wrong it's getting harder and harder to find anything as of lately but when silver is the dish of the day it's a wonderful hunt and an awesome day. You were right car91rs the old spot still has some goodies! Almost forgot, also found an old pair of glasses, cast of someone's teeth, a badge or buckle looking thingy and a small dice bottle.

Hey Yank! My wife found one of those lil badges as well. Stopped at Oro on the way home from ruidoso. No luck though, only had about 40 min to spare.

Hey Bob, this is my 4th one i found at this place its actually a good luck token... as of Oro look for fire pits thats where I've found most if not all 15 liberty nickels.
Wow, 40 min is 10 min in a detectors time, lol!

These are some of the goodies discovered this year. Two of them were given to me by car91rs (1921 chauffeur's badge & gold wings) the first he found by old smelter town and the wings at the dump site. The rest I found at the dump site, Oro Grande, Columbus, Chance City and Turquoise.


I wonder how much I could get on eBay for it lol.

Sweet silver haul! Congrats! You must have your detector set on "silver"!
Maybe you'll find a set of gold false teeth in there somewhere! Lol! The glasses aren't even broken either.
Simply amazing what ends up being thrown out, then found.
