any tector i can get my hands on
can someone recommend some decent ear buds to use for metal detecting ? something with like a 5 foot cord and some decent sound. the ones from the dollar store just don"t cut it. don"t want to spend a lot for skull candy's as i tend to rip the cords off when i get impatient and hot (YA KNOW) ?? any body out there custom make these ? WHY NOTTTT ?thanks y'all

Hey Nomad, try visiting a place like Marshalls or TJ Max. Not dollar stores but retailers who sell name brand merchandise at a discount. I know they sell skull candy buds for $7-8 a pair, small muff style earphones (my preference) for around $15 a pair. Another place to find name brand at discount is Big Lots.

Amazon has a huge selection at low prices & shows ratings by purchasers. Many of these are by Amazon Marketplace sellers, so Amazon's $35 minimum order for free shipping doesn't apply & other sellers have free or very low cost shipping.
