they actually paid me to clear their loft. wanted all the stuff in their taken to the dump so they could convert the loft into a living space. I've had some of my best finds that way. Was very happy, i posted a picture of the sword that came with it yesterday. Happy Days.

i used a little silver polish on the handle of the bayonet but i havent touched the sword. Think they had both been in the attic for years and the new owners of the house hadnt even tried to clear it out. Their loss is a treasure hunters gain. Where theres muck, theres Brass! :-)
