Ever seen a rock like this before?!

I bought this rock at a storage sale. It weighs 2.4 lbs. is not magnetic. I would really like some help identifying what it could be. Please take a look at the pictures. Or if someone might know of a place in so cal. Where I might be able to go to have it identified. I live in riverside,ca. But work in bakersfield so any where in the two locals or in between would be helpful. Thank you for looking

After some websearching, I wlll say Eu_Citzen got it right... astrophyllite. Very astute, sir. Congratulations. (Nobody else in the What-Is-It? forum could ID it.)

That would rule out Astrophyllite if done correctly.

Agreed, it pretty much rules out all common bronze-colored minerals.

More info on how the SG was calculated would be needed. The reason being the host-rock and the needle-like mineral might not be the same.

Definetely not Astrophyllite, I have a few specimens, looks like brand new pennies it's so coppery.

I would say it does sort of look like Silver.
Could it be Stibnite?
