Hey folks, I know nothing about bottles and found this while hunting a CW site this past weekend. Seems to me it may be a medicine bottle but I'm not sure. Looks like the top has mealted. I'm wondering if it could be as old as the CW. The bottom has the number 5 on it and it is very small. Look forward to the education and your thoughts. Thanks for looking. Hey there relic nut,

Looking at these photos, it's a little hard to tell, but I think it could be a blown bottle at least. Maybe a late-blown pill bottle of some sort, 1905-1910. It's hard to see the seams, top, and bottom in these pictures. The seams look kind of machine-made, and the top looks like it's tooled, so I can only take an in-between guess at it. I'd wager that it's not Civil War period anyway.

Someone else might have an idea, and thanks for stopping by!
