Finally got that barber quarter monkey off my back!

Got a nice late 1800s permission today and finally scratched the barber quarter from his bucket list! 1899 baby! 12 wheats and some trinkets including the awesome 1892 lock. Thanks for looking and happy Hunting

I have only found two barber quarters in 30+ years of detecting. A 1915S and a 1898. I was thrilled to find both of them. Congrats on finding yours.

thanks! Go figure I've found a barber half, a bunch of dimes, even 2 seated quarters and finally got that white whale barber quarter!

I’ve never even been seated!!! Well one 1875 Seated dime but it was counterfeit. But it was made it 1875.

But you my friend HAVE hit THE WHITE WHALE!

I can tell you my coin guy was happy as hell it was fake. I call him first to ask him about it and he said he was 98% sure it was real. I told him it looked funny and he said bring it over...he was shocked. Lol
