Snuck in a quickie tonight and couldn't be happier. Found a sick gilt two piece button [emoji3][emoji3]. With a hope banner and anchor on it. Then three steps later a screamer. Great looking copper! Believe variety is M.4-L. Congrats

I didn't bother to check the attribution, but I think hogge is right with the M.4-L. Interesting thing about this coin. It's known as the "Horned Bust" variety because of a die break from the bust. Yours happens to be the earliest die state before the break occurred. Die hard CT collectors will frequently have 3 of these in their collection to show early, middle and late die states. The best part, it's a beautiful coin for a ground find. Way to go on your first CT!
