Found a silver and a promising iron patch in a field

Got permission to hunt a field that once held a ball diamond in the 1960s-70s. Very trashy with only some wheats and clad. Started to explore the rest of the field and got the the silver GW:headbang: Very quiet field until I got into a iron patch and recovered some nice oldies including the tombacs. Was about to think this spot was another bust but gonna have to investigate it some more:)

This was the first brief hunt where we would later find the cut Pistareen, spectacle buckle, 6 colonial coppers, 6 LC, Flying eagle, 2 cent piece, 2 IHPs, seated half dime, silver thimble. Dont think Ill find a site like that again anytime soon
