I feel your pain. It is bright and sunny out here now, but wind chill is 10 degrees! 6 inches of the white stuff. Warm up on tuesday

I hear you. We only have a couple inches of snow but the temps are in the teens with wind chills pushing single digits. Just put a pot of brown beans and dumplings on the wood stove. The dogs, wife and I are cobbed up on the couch. Supposed to warm back up next week. We'll just have to get our fix here till then.

Ground has been frozen here in upstate NY for a few weeks now. Quit your bellyaching! Just kidding; I'm only just starting to go metal detecting stir-crazy.

I went out earlier to detect along plowed parking lots or maybe chisel a few coins from the gravel at the flea market. I did not last long in the 11 degrees. I then decided to indoor treasure hunt and walked through an indoor Flea market the next town over. I then hit a few other resale shops and called it a day.

Before my detecting days I loved going to flea markets and yard sales, etc.
Mainly looking for cool antiques or coins if you could find a good deal or the person didn't really know what they had. I wouldn't want to rip anyone off but I won't rip myself off either. If I could get a $20 coin for $5 then I'm going to do it.
I still do like looking for places on summer travels and stuff but detecting swallowed up all that free time! Haha

Hello JeffInMass,

We had a very lovely surprise of 18+ inches to clear! A snow blower and a bit of time cleared the mess and off to the Little Rhody Antique Bottle Show. Great bottle show!

No snow over here but consistent rain keeping the sandy soil wet. Doesn't work too well :(
