Walked down back in the Creekside woods with my metal detector in the cool drizzling rain for about a half hour today. Managed to find the following all in one hole: a 1950s Pepsi bottle (label flaked off when I got home), a Mason/fruit jar lid, a small bottle, and an old ELGIN men's wristwatch. Nice! Wouldn't it be great if that lid came off a jar of old coins nearby? 😱
