I was able to get a full days hunt in today after some much needed rain here in NM. Started off at the local zoo where 4 of my wheats were on or near the surface along with a rosie that was partially sticking out of the ground. They must have moved the dirt around in this section because the clad was 4-5" deep. After a couple of hours I moved over to an old high school football field that is now being used for junior high, within in the first 30 minutes I scored both silver rings and dug up Billy the kid. Most of the clad came from the field. Any day we get silver in this part of the world is a good day!!

Congrats on some nice keepers !!

Elongated cents are so cool to find.

That silver ring with the turquoise bits looks like it might be Navaho silver? It's a beautiful ring for sure. Billy the Kid copper is pretty cool. You done very well with the silver finds for sure.:headbang:

Silver rings defiantly don't come up as much, as a dirt hunter, so 2 is just awesome! Nice finds!

You lit it up today! Awesome!! Congrats!

Thanks guys, just wished I lived somewhere that had a bit more older coinage.
