They stopped making buffalo nickels in 1937 I think. Not sure what you mean by pre 60 buffs and 1943 buff?

I think that the 38 buffs had a somewhat low mintage.I dont have any but i only buy buffs if they are in the coin stores 75 cent jar.I have found semi key dates and 2 feather errors that the owner missed.

Why are pre 60 nickels worth so much? Never quite got that.

yeah.This is the only coin store i have ever been too.and i go ALOT!!so the owner gives me good deals.he lets me trade 15 war nicks for an xf morgan dollar.I usually go with the 1880's but i have gotten some 1921's.
