Hit the Bay today in two different spots. There were some nice looking lows that had a few rocks showing but there weren't as many tgts in them as I would have though/hoped. I found a few cool items down low, a few coins, the gun (cap gun, thought it was real at first till I looked at the cylinder) and a tie tack from the 70's (found it online : Vintage Green and Silver Tie Tack Sarah Coventry | missvictoriasvintage - Accessories on ArtFire ).

Same story at the second location I went to. Some tgts in the water but hard to pick some of them out as there was ALOT of iron here today, more than usual. Another pirate had been through the area and I could see some holes down low on the slope and in the water. Started in the water and was getting some more coins and some mystery items but nothing of note. On my return leg, I took a look at the upper beach and could see there was a small (couple of inches) upper cut where the beach had frozen and then been undermined by the surf. I figured that some of the things that had been pushed up that high previously might be eroding out of this TINY little cut and I was not disappointed! I started hitting coins all along this spot all the way back to the car! The sun was going down and I couldn't see every coin that was coming out but I knew I had some silvers and wheats but didn't know how may till I got back. Ended up with a 1945 Washington quarter, 1927, 1942 and 1943 Mercury dimes and 8 wheat pennies (3 no dates) 1940, 1938, 1958 D and 2 x 1941's. Most ever in one hunt for me. That wasn't the best though, I also pulled my first "V" nickle out of this same area! 1903 and still has pretty good detail on both sides! One off the bucket list! Gold is still elusive for me so far this year but I have NO complaints about this hunt!

On the way home I stopped off to buy some lottery tickets and bought a few scratch off tickets as well on impulse. It was a good impulse! One ticket was for $25 and another was $500! Every number on the ticket was a winner! Best part is that anything UNDER $600 and the store will pay you, more than that, you have to go to a lottery office and then get charged tax on it! Over all I'd say it was a GREAT day! Now...lets see what those Powerball and Mega Millions numbers are...... :)

Crazy! And I thought I had all the good luck! All that old silver and winning the Lottery twice! The universe was watching over you and saying, "lets give this guy a break today, he deserves it!" :treasurechest::notworthy:

Glad you were able to dig.

So those tickets work by matching numbers, lol? I say this because I think I won a dollar one time on those tickets and I have literally purchased at least 30 of them over the years.
