I'm an antique enthusiast and I love history and stories of treasures found. I recently came across the knowledge that people could search for gold in the streams of Michigan. I found that interesting, but after checking into it, I realized that the State of Michgan makes it almost impossible. Then I checked into metal detecting and treasure hunting of that sort. I am interested in trying to find someone in my area to help me pick and choose a metal detector and show me the ropes, and maybe even join a local club. I also have a very interesting true story about buried treasure from the great Chicago fire that was buried along the shoreline of Lake Michigan near Cathead Point which I would like to share, but I am new to computers and am unsure just how to go about sharing this story.
