Is this some sort of button? I have found 4 of these in my 5 years of metal detecting. Looks like it even had some type of gold gilt. Looks like it was installed like a rivet? Help! looks like it could be a wizzer to me.
A home made toy kids would put a string through and swing around to make a wizzing sound.
back in the 1800's. that's what I was told about the one I found.

Wizzers had at least 2 holes
