Hello, rookie rock hound here needs help with identifying some rocks I found. I live on the eastern side of Vermont about 10 minutes from the Canadian border. I found these rocks in a local river that washes out every year. I know nothing about rocks other than I absolutely love them and always have. Tried to get some pics but it's cloudy here today. Hard to see but most have tons of silvery flakes in them. I have hunted a lot of rivers for rocks up here but never found so many large rocks with this much coloring. Any info is greatly appreciated because it's driving me crazy not knowing what they are!

Thanks for your time and have a great day!
