That's what I was thinking. Post a picture if you can, but in many cases if it's very corroded, doing anything to it will just make some of the layers flake off. Sometimes you just have to leave it as is. Best of luck.

Yea I've cleaned Nickles & after it cleaned the dirt out of the nooks & Crannies,
I was left with what looked like slugs :(

Take a picture before you soak it. Corroded coins will often lose what little detail they have after 'cleaning', even if gentle.
