Can anyone tell me what this is? Thank you! E309C945-4039-421C-BA89-2AD7EB7F2795.jpeg E309C945-4039-421C-BA89-2AD7EB7F2795.jpeg

A ruler or something for scale would be great help. Looks like a real neat stone to me, almost like a polished tumbled piece of smokey quartz.

Goldie has it, agate. Agate is a micro crystalline quartz that is also known as chalcedony and is translucent. You piece does look like it has been machine tumbled to polish it.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Pauly78! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

2nd - I moved ya from TODAY'S FINDS! over to ROCKS/GEMS for more exposure.
