My wife and I hit my new favorite school soccer field today, and I stumbled upon a really pretty wedding band SET in the same hole! After a good cleaning and inspection under the loop, I determined that it is a well made faux white gold plated with CZ stones set. Still, the thrill of finding them cannot be equaled...
On a brighter note, I did find another beauty on the soccer field today, that being a child sized sterling ring with a dark stone (onyx?) marked "Sterling/WM Co." Also found three children's rings on the playground, making it a six ring day.
When my wife goes out detecting with me, I always seem to find precious metal trinkets, she is my lucky charm. I will go back to the field and plow those sidelines for more goodies, so stay tuned. (This soccer field has produced two sterling rings, one sterling pendant, two nickle/plated rings, and three faux/CZ wedding bands during the last six days...Happy Hunting, Sub
