The tooth/claw looking things are part of the seed pods from a Sandbox tree. People in the Caribbean and Central America make necklaces just like that.

I think you have probably found a modern souvenir...

I recognized the seeds pods right away! they made an awesome choker necklace in the sixth grade! Wear it, it may be modern, but the seeds are pretty cool.
