Today I drove 5 hours out west and quickly did what I had to do and just a bit ago got home from a 5 hour return drive home. It's really nice seeing all the beauty the spring rains and snow melt can bring to the arid lands. I wish I had more time to soak it all in. I just love seeing the rivers running high.

Well you could take 70 to Grand Junction and then head from there to Hwy 141 that'll take you down through this canyon. Just before you get to Naturita on 141 you turn west on Hwy 90 into the Paradox Valley into LaSal, Utah and come to the intersection of Utah 191 and be just south of Moab. It's a beautiful and quiet drive that way.
