Found this tie tack with Hebrew lettering a couple weeks back. It is marked on the tie tack and the lettering 935. Read this mark is used in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Also seems that this mark is more common pre WWII. Thinking this tie tack could be old.

Anyone speak Hebrew and know what it says? Any thoughts on mark and age?

Thx
Bill

Thanks for the info. Thinking maybe the tie clasp would have the person's Hebrew name engraved on it.

L'chaim would have a lamed in front. There isn't one. It's the name Chaim, which does mean life. Cool find. My son's name was Yosef Chaim.
