Went to chase bank where my aunt works and asked if she had any halves for me. She had $380 wrapped in a quarters box. Figured they were someone's dump but went for it anyway. Took all the rolls home and it was obviously someone's collection. But not the collection I was looking for. All the rolls were either 1973 or bicentennals... Oh well

Too bad they weren't 1983 quarters. You would have made a great profit (they are worth $20-$50 in uncirculated EACH).

So I guess circulated ones don't go for that much or is it still worth keeping an eye out for them?

Circulated ones are worth just 25 cents. AU+ is what you should keep.
