Keep 'em or throw 'em back?

OK...I know there are some very knowledgeable folks in this fossil forum...so....take a look at these and tell me what you think.

Keep 'em or throw 'em back?..........have any idea what I have found other than a couple of rocks?

First rock is approximately 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" ..it's hard to see...but it has many many little connected X's ......

Second rock is approximately 6" X 8"

The first one looks like Lepidodendron (lycopod tree bark) but it's hard to tell from the picture. The second also looks like some kind of plant fossil, but I'm not up much on plant fossils.

Nice finds, btw. I say they're keepers!

They appear to me to be perhaps cycad fossils. The criscrosses might be the bark of the tree and the second rock could be a seed pod. Just my 2 cents worth. Could be wrong. Great finds though. Keep on looking. Good luck and happy hunting.
