Hi TNet folks,
I haven't posted much this year -- too little time, too many hobbies. I've gotten out a few times this fall and had some fun digging. I'll let the pics tell the story.

HH and thanks for looking,
Michiganne

One Saturday did a group hunt with fellow MDing club members at a local fairground.
Found this Buddha(?) jewelry piece and 3 wheats, oldest being 1912.

Hunted a friend's yard one Sunday and found two silver.

This past Sunday hunted one of my field sites, an alfalfa field which is cut shorter than it has ever been.
Former late 1800's home site.

Dug this 1848 LC...I was happy. :love2:

That's a nice LC for a farm field dig. The few farms I've searched offered up completely roached coppers from the fertilizer. Congrats!

Yeah, not sure how the fertilizer missed this one, but I'm not complaining. :icon_silent:

Ohhhhh! So that's what a large cent looks like with detail showing? I've found three and have to stand one one leg, face the window with the light coming in over my left shoulder, and tilt the coins at a specific angle just to see what may possibly be a head. I really want one that's pretty like that one. Great find.

Ha ha! Yes, not all mine are this pretty. I have one that lost the fight with a plow and was a taco shape before I straightened it a bit. :icon_shaking2:
