I picked this up with the Seiko Watch yesterday. They had just brought out a tray with the Seiko and some jewelry. I saw this amethyst ring which had all the looks of gold so took a chance and paid $9.99. There were no marks other than a | by where it had been sized. I took a chance the 4kt had been cut off when sized and sure enough the ring acid tested to 14kt. Has a nice deep purple stone. Great find.

Good eye, found a very small 14 k band that is worth maybe 15 in melt for a few dollars...same thing...stamp erased during a resize/repair
