Garret Ace 350 / Tracker IV
I bought a bounty hunter IV about a year ago and I've been using it regularly since.
Considering I got it for $100 and
I've collected more than that in clad alone I've decided it's time for an upgrade!
What would you recommend I upgrade to from a BH IV?

I mainly detect in parks and on private property.
Sometimes in fresh water and on rare occasion beaches.
(I live in central NY, not too many beaches)
I don't tend to give up when it starts to rain either.

I'm really looking for something that gives me the depth and an idea of what's there. lol
Those are probably the two biggest pains in the neck about the BH IV.

I'm looking for something in the <$500 range.

So anything suggestions or should I just save up for the Garrett AT Pro?
I already have a Garret Pro-Pointer.

Since your post is basically word for word describing the AT Pro I would go in that direction, it is great second(upgrade) machine that will eliminate the need to do so again.
