Hello and Welcome from White Plains, NY, Ian! 
Hello my name is Angel, I am 54 years old, and I just got a new minelab X Terra pro, one week ago. This is my first metal detector. On my first hunt ,all I found was a penny. I only went for an hour, but weird did not find any pull tabs, aluminum foil or can slaw. I am not complaining, but I think it went well. Yes I do want to metal detect with someone else here in Laredo
