Military Button guys I need your help

Ok I dug these on a site that had a homesite in the mid 1800s the only thing I can figure on them is they are Dakota national guard buttons but I have yet to find another one online. Nice buttons! There are a couple listed in Albert's under "Dakota Territory" in the states section -
