So I just wanted to share. I'm finally able to start my MS Indian head collection!

I'll keep updating this thread as I add more to the collection.

I did not pay $240. I paid $180 + tax

Coppercrazy - those are very nice coins. I've never tried to put together a high grade collection of anything! Good luck.

The shop I went to is the only place with MS Indian head within 2 hours of me. He had 4 1856 flying eagle and at least a handful of 1877 in various conditions :D

The owner said he has $50,000,000 of inventory, and he has been in the business for 45 years. He gave me a Dansco album to put my Indian heads in! The are his favorite coin too. He was a very nice man, and I told him I'll be back Friday to buy more. I can't wait!

Keep us up to date on the progress. I am currently working on my AU to MS set of Indians as well. Started a little over a year ago and currently have around 10 dates although I have collected many doubles over the year for trade along the way so I have around 20 MS Indians and probably around 50 AU examples. It's by far my favorite series and has been a blast putting together thus far. Have fun in your search.

I have all the Indians in XF, but, MS condition? That's way out of my price range! Just buying the 1877 and 69/69 would bankrupt me! :notworthy:

Yeah I definitely have no plans of getting the 1877 or 69/69 in MS or AU. It would have to be a really lucky find. The 1877 I currently have is in G4 condition but I got it for $2 out of a bulk Indian head purchase from my lcs. Same with my 1909 S in VG8 condition.

Two coins I picked up. I bought a slabbed Indian coming in the mail. It should be here Monday. Ok so, $65.00 for both, and I kind of regret the purchase, but it is what it is. The 1907 has lots of luster.

Note* this pictures were taken in my house, NOT outside in natural light because it is snowing and cloudy.

Well this is the coin I bought for $193.00. The obverse looks like a 65 to me and the reverse is probably a 64 with the little black marks.

Sorry I tried to get good photos
