So the other day @Blackfoot58 I believe mention something about the ducks not migrating yet.
I looked at the photos of birds on my phone and it had a time stamp of Nov.13.2022
We had a small group of fish ducks (common merganser or goosander) on that day.

I will say nature is bang on this year with the timing of the large flock of ducks. Simply brilliant!

Yep..them be fish eatin' ducks alright.

I'd lay odds there's also a big hatch of fish eggs going on, and they are feasting on smolt.

Our little bay is always quivering with the schools of hatched from the summer.
The Bass, Pike love feeding, Otters, Mink, then there's also the birds.
This time of the year hardly see any 2 legged creatures roaming around, so nature comes out to play.
