Bell Front.jpg In the Dirt.jpg

Hi All -

Yesterday evening I went for a quick hunt at a new spot. Unfortunately it got cut short because of rain, but I did manage to find a nice old crotal bell, marked with a number "2" - only the second one I've found.

I'm looking forward to trying this place again this weekend when the rain lets up - seems promising.

A minor find compared to others here, but I still think it's pretty cool. Thanks for looking - HH!

I've seen these over the years but never knew what they were called. Yours looks to be in really good condition. Are you in Amish country?

Thanks! I found this in Bucks county, PA, which is about 75 miles East of what I'd consider Amish country (ie, Lancaster county).

That's a good indication of what remains to be found at a site .... because you know, nobody, whether they were cherry picking or not, would ever walk past a signal like that.
